Gift Options - Disable Segment Labels

If your preference is not to use "Segment 1", "Segment 2" labels in your residue gifts, we now offer the option to skip those where they are not necessary, such as where the entire residue contains absolute gifts only.  For example, for an absolute gift of 50 Parts of the residue, you can chose to just reference the 50 Parts and then refer to them as "those Parts" through the rest of the gift and gift-overs.

Note that it will still use Segment Labels when it needs to, for example where there are trust gifts or other complicated distributions in the residue.

By default you will continue to use Segment Labels. but if you want to turn them off go to "Gift Options" - and uncheck "Use Segment Label for Simple Residue".  That can be done at the Firm level or per client.
