Henson Trust

How do I create a Henson Trust?

First you must ensure the "Disability" button has been clicked in the Special Circumstances section for that beneficiary.

1. Navigate to the "People" tab.
2. Double click on the beneficiary to edit their details.
3. Scroll to the "Special Circumstances" section and click the "Disability" button.

To create the gift:

1. Navigate to the scenario for which you wish to create the gift.
2. To ensure it is properly set up to create a Henson Trust:
   1. Set the gift type to "Trust".
   2. Set the "Duration" as "Death of beneficiary".
   3. Set the "Discretionary payments" to "Unlimited".

Note: The wording of the clause will not explicitly say that it is a Henson Trust, however it will be worded in a way that makes it a Henson Trust.
