How do I appoint a primary estate trustee?
- Click the “+Add” button.
- Click “Appointee” and select the name of the person you would like to appoint from the drop down menu.
- Click “Condition”, and select “None” from the drop down list.
- Click “Add” in the bottom corner.
Note: You must add a primary estate trustee before adding any alternates.
How do I appoint an alternate estate trustee?
- Click the “+Add” button.
- Click “Appointee” and select the name of the person you would like to appoint from the drop down menu.
- Click “Condition”, and select “If all specified cannot act” or "If any specified cannot act" from the drop down list.
- Click “Add” in the bottom corner.
What is the difference between “if all specified cannot act” and “if any specified cannot act”?
- If “If all specified cannot act” is selected, this individual will only be appointed if all of the others named are not able to act.
- If “If any specified cannot act” is selected, this individual will be appointed if any of the specific individuals named are not able to act.
