Macros Overview

What is a Macro?

A macro is a script that automates a common task. In e-State Planner, macros can be used to save time when dividing up the balance of the estate.

• In the "Scenarios" section, if you find that you are dividing up the residue in a common way (such as leaving everything to the spouse or equally to the two children for example), you can check our list of pre-populated macros to see if any of them match your preferences.

If you want to run a macro but none of the macros on the list match exactly what you are trying to do, you can either:  

1. Run a pre-populated macro that is similar to what you are looking to do and edit its details 
2. Create your own in the "Macros" tab.
