What are non-user witnesses?
Non-user witnesses are individuals whose names can be added to the account for the sole purpose of being selected as a witness. These individuals will not be able to access the account with their own login. This feature is great to use for individuals that act as witnesses for signings, but do not formally work for the firm, or need access to the account to draft documents. Adding non-user witnesses can be done at no additional charge.
How do I add a non-user witness?
- Navigate to the People tab and choose Other in the top left corner.
- Click "+Add", and fill out the details of the individual. You will want to make sure the address and occupation fields are filled out as this information will be pulled into the document when that individual is chosen as a witness.
- Click Add in the bottom right corner.
