Add a Debt

How do I add a debt?

1. Ensure you are on the "Debts" tab and click the “+Add” button.
2. Choose a debt category and a specific debt type within that category and click "Select".
3. Fill out the required fields and click “Add” in the bottom corner.

Note: If you have already inputted the value of the mortgage on a property in the "Mortgages/Encumbrances" field in the "Assets" section, do not re-add this mortgage in the "Debts" section. If you add the mortgage in both sections, it will get double counted and provide an inaccurate net value of the estate.
