What is the questionnaire?
The questionnaire is an online form where clients have the opportunity to enter their profile, family, asset, and debt information. All information entered in the questionnaire will automatically populate in your user account.
All information is automatically saved as the client completes the form. The information is immediately captured on the lawyer's portal and an email is sent to notify the lawyer when it has been completed.
How does the client access the questionnaire?
Once the client receives the link (from eState Planner or the lawyer from their own email), they will click the link, create a password, and activate their account. This will allow them to be able to log back into the questionnaire at any time. To re-access it, they should go to e-stateplanner.com, select “Login” and enter the credentials they created when they activated their questionnaire account.
How do I resend the questionnaire?
If the client hasn't activated their questionnaire within a week, it will expire and you will need to send them a new activation link.
- Click the three dots on the right side of the client and select "Edit".
- Click the "Resend Activation" button.
How do I receive an email notification that the client has completed the questionnaire?
All information inputted into the questionnaire by the client will be automatically reflected in your account. This will allow you to monitor the progress the client has made - you can prompt them to fill out certain sections with more details if necessary. You can also view this progress in the client's profile by clicking the forms (checkmark with lines) button in the top right corner.
- When adding the client to the system, make sure the user is marked as either a primary or secondary contributor.
- All contributors on the client file will receive a notification email once the client has completed and submitted their questionnaire.
Can you fill out both spouses' information in one client questionnaire?
As long as they are linked in the system, you are able to send one spouse the questionnaire to fill out all information for the both of them.
